The tour route: Almaty-Tamgaly-Altyn Emel-Charyn-Big Almaty Lake

Day 1: Almaty
Upon arrival you will start your driving to Almaty. Today you are going to have a city tour. You will visit today interesting sight for travelers- the Green Bazaar, where you will not be able to resist shopping. Here you can take colorful pictures of the Bazaar, full of food rows. After you will explore the historical site Panfilov Park, where you can observe one of the most wonderful wooden churches in the world - Zenkov Cathedral. After you will explore the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, symbolically marking the memory of the people of the fallen heroes, fighters for freedom, for the honor of the country.  The next destination will be the Medeo Gorge, the sports complex is located at an altitude of 1691 meters, and the Medeo ice rink is a record holder in size and location. You will explore another spot the Kok-Tobe hill with monuments and playgrounds, an interesting place for families to spend time and walk with relatives. Here you can enjoy the clean mountain air, see the panorama of the city and skate on the rides. You will finish the tour with ride by famous Almaty cableway. You will spend the night in the hotel.

Day 2: Almaty - Tamgaly - Altyn Emel
After breakfast you will head to Altyn Emel national park. On the way you will explore the  Tamgaly Tas. We will pass by artificial Kapshagai water reservoir, there are a lot of cottages and health complexes located here. After you will arrive to Tamgaly Tas is a rare example where both Turkic and Dzungarian drawings on rocks are well preserved, and it is also unique in that there is a Buddha and sacred deities drawn here. Then you will transfer another couple of driving hours to Basshi village, which is situated at the area of Altyn Emel National Park and have trip to the Singing Dune. This is a large sand dune located between two low mountain ranges, the Big and Small Kalkan. The dune begins to sing from the hum of sand, when thousands of grains of sand rub against each other. Its length is about 3 km, the height of the sandy mountain is 100-150 m. After you will drive to Basshi village overnight in a comfortable local hotel.

Day 3: Altyn Emel - Charyn - Almaty 
Today you will have a journey to Ash-tree Grove on the Temerlik River. Ash grove is a rare gift of nature, which was formed many millions of years ago. Here grow relict ash which is known all over the world. Charyn ash differs not only in its large size, but also in its beautiful patterned bark, openwork crown and complex finely divided leaves. The ash trees can live 300-400 years. After you will drive to amazing Charyn Canyon. This is one of the most unusual and beautiful places in Kazakhstan. Many people know its history and that it is the younger brother of the Grand Canyon in the United States. On arrival you will see amazing landscapes. And tiday you will have a chance to stroll about 2 km through the maze of the Castles Valley this is the most interesting part. It is the castles that attract tourists the most. The fact is that the rocks look like real castles. The stone figures resemble fancy towers. At sunset, the sun's rays emphasize the reddish, interesting shade of the rocks. The history of the Charyn Canyon began about twelve million years ago, when most of the territory that we now call Charyn was occupied by the Ili lake. You will spend the night in the hotel.

Day 4: Almaty - Big Almaty Lake - Almaty
Today you will start your tour with exploring Almaty Museum, one of the modern and interesting museums. After you will discover to Central State Museum of Kazakhstan. The tour route will take you to Park of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. You will drive about 40 minutes in the picturesque gorge via the winding mountain paved road with stunning views, where you will have a chance to observe the fabulous panorama of the Big Almaty Lake, hidden in a mountainous area with landscapes of indescribable beauty and delicious air filled with the aroma of fragrant herbs and the freshness of the snow-capped peaks of the Trans Ili Alatau. The color of the lake always different depending on the weather. You will walk around an hour to feast your eyes upon the lake. When you will drive back to the city you will have a chance to observe Falcon Farm, where you will watch interesting show with specially trained hawks, falcons and eagles. Hunting with birds and dogs has always been considered an art: the graceful movements of animals, emotions and passion of hunters made it a tradition when nomads have been hunting for centuries. Show will be outside and takes around 30-40 minutes.
