Day 1: Almaty
Today you will arrive to Almaty. You will have a tour today in Almaty. The tour starts with exploring the natural attraction the Medeu Gorge where is located the huge ice rink which is famous worldwide. You will have a small walk around where you will fascinate the enchanting nature and picturesque mountains views, you will breathe fresh air and admire the beauty of pine-tree then you will get to the next destination Shymbulak ski resort area by the cable car. You will go down also by the cable car. Then you will travel to Kok Tobe hill along the fabulous winding mountain road on the park eco-cars. You will see here the tallest TV tower of Almaty. Then you will start the city tour with Almaty Museum*, there you will have a chance to discover the history of Almaty and Kazakhstan. It will be followed with ancient park of Almaty -Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, where you will have a chance to observe the high spectacular building - Zenkov Cathedral. The last sight of the tour will be the Green Bazaar*, where you will find interesting products, fruits and vegetables. The night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Almaty - Charyn - Almaty
After the breakfast you will start the tour to Charyn Canyon is one of the unique natural monuments of Kazakhstan. Its length is 154 kilometers. The height in some places reaches 300 meters. The age of sedimentary rocks is 12 million years. The canyon itself is similar to the American Grand Canyon, only smaller in size. The canyon was formed 12 million years ago and attracts a considerable number of tourists. Nature was able to act as an artist and create this miracle of nature with the help of water, sun and wind. You will get 3 hours to the canyon and your trip will be very interesting, because you will be able to hear interesting stories about the Kazakh people, their customs and traditions, as well as about the cultural heritage. After arrival to Charyn Canyon you will see the beautiful panorama of the nature and admire it grander. After you can also walk along the charming Valley of Castles with incredible fascinating views. Then you will come to the city and have a night in the hotel.
Day 3: Almaty - Issyk lake - Almaty - Bishkek
You will have a wonderful tour today to Issyk Gorge lies along the Kuldja tract in Trans Ili Alatau. En route you will have a chance the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK", there you will see the interesting and unique expositions dedicated to the history and culture of the Saka period, a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of Saka burial mound. After you will move to the altitude of 1756 meters above sea level, where you will get to fabulous lake Issyk. Before the 1963 mudslide, lake Issyk, located at an altitude of about 1,756 meters above sea level, had a length of 1,850 meters, a width of 500 meters, and its depth reached 50-79 meters. Then you will get to the city. Transfer to the capital Bishkek. The overnight is in the hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
This day you will have a city tour in the capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek. You will observe today many iconic places such as Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic. In the second part of the tour you will explore the interesting views of Ala Archa gorge. The gorge is famous for its flora and fauna, translated as variegated juniper. This name is given to the gorge because of the abundant thickets of both tree-like and creeping juniper that cover its slopes. It is only 40 km away. Here you can have a great time and see the beautiful panorama of the gorge. Then you will transfer to the city. You will have a night in the hotel.
Day 5: Bishkek - Burana - Chon Kemin
Today you will visit Asian Bazaar. This day you will immerse yourself in the national life of the Kyrgyz society, see interesting products and be able to buy fresh products or enjoy Souvenirs. Then you will transfer to Chon Kemin gorge. You are going to explore on the way Burana Tower grandiose in its design, the minaret is located in the Eastern part of the settlement. By its size and modest decoration of burnt bricks, it is undoubtedly one of the earliest architectural monuments of Islam in Central Asia and dates back to the X-XI. You will also learn the history from an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). You will go the top and see the magnificent beauty of the valley. You will continue transferring to fabulous Chon Kemin gorge. When you arrive you will have 3 hours of horse riding. Then you will get high in the mountains and discover the vivid mountain forest. Along the way you will observe picturesque views of the gorge. This night will be in the home stay.
Day 6: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore - Karakol
After breakfast you will departure to Issyk Kul lake. The largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, drainless, is one of the 30 largest lakes in the world by area and on the seventh place in the list of the deepest lakes. Issyk-Kul collects and stores everything that comes with rain and rivers flowing into it. This determines the salinity of the water in the lake. Issyk-Kul is the world's second most transparent water after lake Baikal. The length of Issyk-Kul from West to East is 182 km, and from South to North - 58 km at an altitude of 1608 meters. You will have a chance to observe the amazing views of the lake and discover the northern part of Issyk Kul. You will visit on the way stone patterns - petroglyphs. And get to Karakol, after arrival you will see the Dungan mosque. The history of the Dungan mosque in the city of Karakol begins with the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, its construction was carried out over three years. The most amazing thing about this mosque is that it is built without a single nail or any metal ligaments. And you will see today an old wooden Orthodox Church. Your dinner will be in a local restaurant. The night is in a guesthouse.
Day 7: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor
This day is dedicated for travelling to Jeti Oguz gorge, one of the most remarkable natural treasures of Kyrgyzstan. A mountain gorge with incredible red rocks, located 30 km South-West of the city of Karakol. There you will see the Broken Heart Mountain. You will have a chance to explore the top of the mountains and discover the interesting views of the gorge. You will continue tour with driving along the south part of Issyk Kul. You will stop at village Bokonbaevo village, where you will get acquainted local eagle-hunter. This day you will know about the ancient way of nomadic hunting. The overnight is in a home stay.
Day 8: Kochkor - Son Kul
In the morning you will transfer to Son Kul Lake. On the territory of Naryn region there is a picturesque lake Son-Kul, which is considered the second largest in Kyrgyzstan. It is home to 38 species of mammals, 190 species of birds, 7 species of fish, 7 species of amphibians and 300 species of plants. Son Kul lake is located at an altitude of 3016 one of the main habitats of waterfowl: mountain goose, whooper Swan, grebe and other migratory birds. This place is rich with incredible flora and fauna. After coming to the lake you will discover the magnificent views and see the emerald surface. You will rest the night in the yurt, nomadic dwelling
Day 9: Son Kul - 33 parrots Pass - Kochkor - Bishkek
Today you will get acquainted with local inhabitants. Then you will transfer to Bishkek city. You will transfer through 33 parrots pass (3 133 m). It is one of the most beautiful passes in Kyrgyzstan and you can take photos along the way. You will stop in Kochkor to learn the technique of making the national felt carpet; it serves for a very long time and usually passed on to the bride as a dowry. Then you will have a chance to see here a small handicraft museum there. You will observe here the examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolves, horse saddle decorations, carpets and more. After you will continue tour with transferring to the the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek city. This night is in the hotel.
Day 10: Bishkek - Osh
Today you will have a transfer flight to ancient city Osh. You will discover the streets in Osh reach the interesting place Suleiman Mountain. Suleiman Too located in the center of Osh. The height of this mountain at the highest points reaches 100-150 meters, the length is one and a half kilometers, the width along with the plume is 120 meters, and the absolute mark is at an altitude of 1106 meters above sea level. Suleiman mountain, considered sacred from time immemorial, is covered with legends and folk lore. Suleiman mountain, its slopes and foothills abound with the most valuable historical monuments of the past, both archaeological and architectural. You will also visit today Asian Bazaar. Day 11: Osh - Guliston border - Khujand
This day you will have a morning transfer to Tajik border and after to Khujand city. You will be picked up by Tajik guide on the border. Khujand is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia and the second largest in the country after Dushanbe. Its population is approximately 149 thousand people. The city stands on the full-flowing Syr Darya river, surrounded by mountains and greenery, in clean air. During the tour you will explore the Cultural Palace of Khujand. And discover the amazing sight Central Mosque that is located in the heart of the city. This night will be in the hotel.
Day 12: Khujand - Iskanderkul Lake
This day you will have a trip to high Mountain lake - Iskanderkul (2 255 m. a. s. l.). It was named after alexander the great. This fabulous lake is popular among travelers. The location of the lake is the heart of Fann Mountains. When you come to the lake you will disocver the beautiful views of the lake and go for a walk along it beaches. There you will hike about 40 Also 40 minutes to observe the enchanting waterfall. Tajikistan ranks 2nd in terms of water resources among the CIS countries: it has the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night is in a homestay.
Day 13: Iskanderkul - Dushanbe
After the breakfast you will transfer to Dushanbe via spectacular Anzob pass (3 372 m) and tunnel of Isticlol. Be prepared to observe the fascinating mountain road and take pictures of the vivid nature. After arrival you will have a tour dedicated to main sights of the capital. You will discover: Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then you will see National park and observe Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then you will continue the tour with Central Museum where you will learn the history of Tajik people and observe Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. The night is in the hotel.
