Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
Your guide will collect you from the International Airport of Manas and accompany you to Bishkek City (capital of Kyrgyzstan). The drive from the Airport to Bishkek takes 30 minutes. After accommodation in a hotel*** that is situated in a clam area of the city you will have a rest and you will start the day with a breakfast. This day you will have an excursion to the Natural Park of Ala - Archa, which is situated on the Kyrgyz ridge (a spur of Tien-Shan), in the Ala-Arch gorge, 45 km. south from Bishkek. To have a nice view of this famous gorge you will go to the top of a mountain. Transfer back to Bishkek. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. Overnight stay is in the hotel***.
Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley - Dzhylangach river
Transfer by car from Bishkek to Chon Kemin valley (200 km). First part of the road is along the Kyrgyz range. Kyrgyz range is situated just 40 km from the capital of
Kyrgyzstan. It has many amazing gorges that attract a lot of people. We will have wonderful views of snowy peaks from the road. On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret from the 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). Afterwards we will arrive to the Dzhylangach River. Then we will ride about 40 km. Overnight stay is in tents.
Day 3: Ride (58 km) Dzhylangach - Kichi-Naryn
This day is easy one. You will ride along the Balgart and Kichi-Naryn Rivers. Riding is by the dirt road. This night you will spend near the Kichi-Naryn River in the forest in tents. Since ancient times this place is popular among the nomads. Shepherds with all their relatives were coming to this area. All of them were going from one place to another one as a big family with a great amount of cattle. Some big tribes could comprise 1000 yurts and even more! The Kyrgyz nomads like to meet travelers and are very hospitable.
Day 4: Ride (63 km) Kichi-Naryn - Naryn town
This day we will cycle along Naryn River to Naryn town (2050 m. alt.). Easy day. After having breakfast we will cycle down to (2351m. alt.) the Village of Kichi-Naryn that is found 4 km away from Kichi - Naryn and Naryn River's confluence. You will be surprised with amazing mountains beauty while cycling to Naryn. You will have many photo stops as the whole way will be along incredible gorges. Lunch is on the road. Cycling is by the main road. Naryn is a long, narrow town that was built right along the gorge near the longest river in Kyrgyz Republic - Naryn. The mountains are very close to the town. Naryn town is situated 2800 meters above sea level. This night you will be spent in yurts. Yurts are nomadic collapsible abodes. They are made out of wood without using a single nail and covered with felt.
Day 5: Transfer or Ride Naryn - Tash Rabat (Stone Castle) Caravanserai (130 km)
This day you can ride or be transferred from Naryn town to the Great Silk Road Tash Rabat Caravanserai. Its construction refers to the 14th century A. D. Tash Rabat is situated at the altitude of 3200 m. above sea level, in the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. This building has no analogue in the world. It was constructed out of stones and beside that it was partly built inside the mountain. Totally there are 31 rooms, which are joined with mazes. There are also dungeons for medieval culprits. The walls width of is about one meter. This night you will spend nearby the Tash Rabat Caravanserai in yurts. Yurts are nomadic habitations that are made out of wood without using a single nail and felt.
Day 6: Ride (86 km) Tash Rabat - Moldo village
You will ride from Tash Rabat to Moldo village in the morning after packing your backpacks. At the time of Great Silk Way this way was used by ancient merchants. Thousand of traders on camels and horses were passing there with their goods from China. It is a nice chance to feel that you ride along the same way! This is temperate difficulty ride by the asphalt road along Naryn Valley. Night is in the tent camp (alt.1670m. a. s. l.).
Day 7: Moldo village - Son Kul Lake
This day as you wish, you can cycle or could be transferred (60 km) over the Pass of Kurtka (3243m. alt.) from the Village of Moldo to the Kyrgyz 2nd biggest mountain lake - Son Kul. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyz Republic that is situated at the altitude of 3016 m. above sea level. The first part of riding to the gorge beginning is uncomplicated, with a slight descent. We will go through the narrow passage to the narrow gorge with high sharp rock walls, in some places up to 200 meters. Here is the beginning of the steep ascent to the pass. The descent is easier and shorter. Naryn region shepherds come to the lake and use it as summer pastureland. The Kyrgyz nomads with their families started to come to this wonderful area for relaxation and rest. Upon our arrival, you will be free to walk around and enjoy the pristine lake's nature and its surrounds. Overnight stay is at the altitude of 3016 meters a. s. l., in the collapsible nomadic abodes - yurts. Yurt is manufactured out of wooden skeleton that is covered with thin felt mats. Dinner.
Day 8: Son Kul Lake
This day we will spend in the Kyrgyz paradise, at Son - Kul Lake. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. You will have an excellent opportunity to explore Kyrgyz nature and lifestyle on your own. You can ride along the lake on a horse, or just relaxing in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature. We will walk among the Tian -Shan Mountains where every nomad invites you to his yurt to try kymis - national staple drink made of mare's milk. You will spend this night in tent camp.
Day 9: Transfer to Bishkek city
We will drive to Bishkek city in the morning. You will be carried away by the amazing landscapes offered through views of the virgin nature. You will have free time in the city to go shopping and to walk. You will have a dinner in a restaurant in the evening. This night you will spend in the hotel***.
Day 10: Bishkek
In the morning we will have a city tour. This tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. Afterwards we will visit famous Osh Bazaar. You will walk there and bargain for different goods and you will have a feeling as if you are 1000 years ago! At 7 o'clock a farewell dinner will be served. Overnight stay is in the hotel***.
Day 11: Transfer to the airport
At the time arranged beforehand according to your flight details your guide will collect you from your hotel and accompany you to the Airport of Manas.
